Northern Territory

Some pictures from the 3000km drive from Cairns to Darwin. Crossing the empty land with straight roads and a petrol station in every few hundred kilometers.

A tool for marking cattle (this is only my guess). You know heating it up and then burning the sign on cow's skin



Swimming in hot water creek (small river). There was also signes that freshwater crocodiles live in the area, but still it was one excellent experience.

The Great Barrier Reef

This is how the reef looks: 30km from the coast, these lighter spots are the reefs about half a meter under water (depends if it is high or low tide). At the far back is the outer edge of the reef where the waves are breaking.
