Time is rushing, feels flick of a second but already more than one month since the last post. Meanwhile made it to Beijing, two photos taken from there will not make it to this blog. There was not really any time to look around, managed to see 2 meeting rooms, 1 factory, 1 restaurant, 1 hotel room and roads from the car window.
But during the weekends have seen already some places slightly further away from Shanghai. Week ago made it to small town (only 6 million inhabitants) called Hangzhou(about this in next post). One of the top tourist destinations in China.
Dreaming of paradise. Shanghai Aquarium. Even though Shanghai is a city by the sea I have not managed to see it and what I have heard it is not really a sandy beach with palms reaching over the water. ... so what else, back to the aquarium... :)
Zhujiajiao, suburbs of Shanghai. Advertised as Venice of China.
Zhujiajiao. Morning, everything is still calm and still, just few hours later is was a challenging task to navigate on the busy streets.
Zhujiajiao. River navigation
Zhujiajiao. Enjoying a spring day. Still not very warm, but the spring sun is already out.
Zhujiajiao. Leaking tap
Zhujiajiao. Thinker on the tiny chair
Zhujiajiao. Hard work of doing laundry
Zhujiajiao. Laundry. A very common sight, whenever walking on streets there are always underwear hanging somewhere above or right next to you.
Zhujiajiao. News time
Even though Chinese culture is a lot about food and there are so many places to eat outside around the house, time to time it is good to have something at home. The Chinese kitchen is influencing ways of making food at home. Lately most of the food is boiled, more like a soup. Trying more different vegetables. Actually don't know if it is correct to call all these different leaves and mushrooms even vegetables. If I remember correctly this dish was made of 8 or 9 different veggies + shrimps.
