Fortification wall. SuZhou used to be important business town on the Grand Canal, there is some piece of fortification wall by the river. If talking about old constructions this is a little change from temples, that are usually the typical old buildings.

EXPO 2010. This bridge will not be built, if I remember correctly from French designers. Maybe a bit too fragile and romantic, as in reality the river is not that blue and it is full of black and smoky barges.

Hangzhou

Small 6 million town Hangzhou around 150km from Shanghai.
