Shanghai - December 2009

Most of my trips in Shanghai start in this metro station - offering line 4 or line 1. And of course with one of the interesting job positions - this lady is encouraging (read: screaming) people to move faster on the moving escalator.

On the old streets again - my favorite place to stroll around in Shanghai. Chicken business, the guy can Sell, Kill and Clean a chicken... all this in matter of seconds.

Lunch time smoke with a news update. Don't know about this newspaper, but seems the main English Newspaper in Shanghai wants to wash every single brain into EXPO2010 blue color.

New old streets for me, the market in Jewish Quarter. Crickets on sail - popular pets for Chinese men

Only few white people make to these streets, managed to get one on the picture

Even though old houses are more often on my pictures of Shanghai, the daily reality looks more like this... endless forest of cranes
