New Zealand in 3 weeks, vol 2
Franz Josef Glacier in rain
Franz Josef Glacier, only later we noticed these small red dots on the photo - small group of climbers
Dusky dolphins in Kaikoura on South Island of New Zealand
At the beginning I was rather excited and wanted to get all the fins on the picture, later on only dolphins who were jumping out from water or doing some other tricks.
Jump 1
Jump 2
Jump 3
Landing on the back
Dolphin called Martin
Surfing on the front wave, basically the dolphin is enjoying the free ride
Kristjan dolphin
Dancer. At the beginning it seemed rather hard to get the jumping dolphin on the photo, but later I noticed that if one starts to jump then it usually continues doing it, so it got a lot easier - just follow the direction of the jumper and soon it will be out of water again and again.
Kristjan - the guy who got sea sick from swimming :)
Landscape with dolphins and seabirds
Some lazy seals in Kaikoura, really didn't bother that we were around them
This seal at least opened its eyes
Getting a long pretty well
The rocks down in the water were full of resting seals
Picton - last stop for us on the South Island of New Zealand
Picton
Captain filling the logbook
House in the water
Kaptenile kohvi koorega :)
Two generations of camper vans
Wellington - the capital - first city for us in New Zealand
Rather interesting monster in Wellington
Stuck in snow - Tongariro National Park, place with active vulcanos
Last morning in Spaceship, making tea
Some more house to house reflection architecture in Auckland, I like it a bit more than the one I got in Brisbane (Australia)
Elvis was here, but he didn't like it :)

New Zealand in 3 weeks, vol 1
Somewhere in the middle of Aprill it was time to take a vacation from vacation and fly to New Zealand for few weeks.
Some hikers in Christchurch airport, even the climbing ropes were there :)
Autumn, Christchurch, New Zealand
Master of chess I
Master of chess II
One very colourful guy in the church, who had amazing knowledge of New Zealand, the church etc. But also amazing memory for names and people... he remembered by name some Estonian girl who had visited the church several years ago, also he was rather well informed about Eurovision :) etc.
In the church
Giving light to the ones in dark :)
Enlightened!

Stolen art. It was not allowed to take this picture, but I got to know that only after it was already taken, sorry :)
Christchurch by night
Christchurch by night & my favorite torch
Tram line through the house
Lake Tekapo
A small church by Lake Tekapo
First night in wild
View to Mount Cook
Where the flat land and high land are meeting
Crossing
Mt Cook

An experienced traveller choosing the next destination. Picture from the southern most point of New Zealand if not considering the small Stewart island that is even a bit more south
Wind and its power
Wind and its power
40-50 million sheep in New Zealand. The human population is ~4 million.
Te Anau, transportation in the mountains.
Milford Sound - one of the top tourist deitinations of NZ with annual rainfall of up to 7m. We were very lucky to enjoy the sunny sky in between the 1500m high mountains.
Rainforest around Milford Sound
Milford Sound, due to the height of mountains it is really hard to understand the actual distances. It seems that the mounains are just few hundred or so meters over the water, but actually the mountains that are further away are like 7km from me. It kind of cool to think about this when floating with a tiny kayak on the water.
Autumn in Queenstown, by the way on these mountains several scenes of Lord of The Rings were shot.
Queenstown
What berries are these? Furry and soft
This is one of the reasons I need to go back to New Zealand - Vertigo Downhill Bike Track. Why I just discovered this at the last evening in Queenstown?! Small single just next to trees with all its jumps, sharp turns...
Queenstown from top. Queenstown is the action sport center of New Zealand - downhill, gliding, whiteriver rafting, bunge jumping etc etc etc.
1 Mile tube that was bringing water for the Queenstown hydropower plant, built in 1924.
Stopped by the nature
So this is part of the team we were travelling. One guy was huge other was tiny.
... and then they went thought some srange mutations and then the tiny got big and big got tiny.... ahhh hard to get them :)
