June and July – rainy months and August is to be the hot one, this was the initial information. Now, during the first days of August it seems a bit different. June and July were baking with heat, and last 2-3 weeks the rains have brought some coolness – now temperatures are down to ~32 degrees. But it is better to have umbrella always nearby.
This means that during the weekends it is getting important finding these small time windows between showers of rain. Week ago, on one of these moments, it was time to discover the Botanical garden, the destination that had been long time in the list of places to visit and finally, when the spring blossoming had made it far into the history, it was the time to go to check the place out – to see bamboos, magnolias, ferns. Bamboos were cool, magnolias ok and ferns were rather dead. All topped up with some nice bites from mosquitoes.

Shanghai Botanical Garden, I lined up with locals to get the best shot. My catch for this time :)
The best for building houses and for food and now also just to enjoy watching it growing. Bamboo.
