Weekends around Shanghai: Wuxi
Sometimes it actually looks very nice during and after rain. Shanghai
Weekend trip to Wuxi, Turtle-Hear Pensisula Scenic Spot. For a moment I had a feeling like being back in Angkor Wat in Cambodia, the feeling lasted only till I tapped the old rocks with my fingers, it all sounded empty. All the statues are set up just few years ago to attract tourists.
Golden teacher for tourists to adore.
Like Angkor Wat, only built just few years ago
Guard of toes
Artificially created tourist town. At 5 PM the tourist town closes down, shops getting closed, people leaving… and the very traditional looking Chinese environment becomes very non-Chinese looking lifeless ghost town.
Where is the toilet?
A real working pagoda
One last candle in pagoda
Wuxi. Rain cleared the view and brought out the nice evening colours.
Lake Tai and its islands. Ghost town and Imitation of Angkor Wat was on the island with a tower.
