Hiking 2009 - Langmusi 1

The main reason for coming to small Langmusi was to continue the trip on the horse back. But Langmusi itself was a very relaxed mountain village at 3300m from the sea level. 2 Tibetan Buddhist temples and the place where nomadic people come for food shopping.

Praying wheels, all the wheels have the same pray written in Sanskrit. In the mornings and evenings these are rather frequently used. For worshiping people were also making circles around the holy buildings, always clockwise.

Praying flags on the hill. Some hills (not this) are used for Sky burials, this means that also the body should be taken to the sky. Birds will take care of taking the body parts to the sky.
Two days later we saw hawks circling around one of the hills, it had been a burial day.
