Hiking holiday

Two weeks of amazing hiking in inner parts of China got done.

This is how it went:
Langmusi, a small Tibetian village that was the starting point for horse
trekking trip.

Living with nomadic people in their tent on huge grass meadow. 3600 meters
from sea level.

The town of Xiahe, third of the town is the Labrang monastery. For
Tibetian Buddhists the 2nd holiest place after Lhasa.

Lake of Qinghai. Went there with not too high expectations but turned out
to be a place like from another planet. Place of almost no people! Behind
there the mountains covered with snow, at the left sand desert and dunes
and in front the salt water lake. And there was 1 house on the shore the
Qinghai Yacht Club, though the Chinese government doesn't allow any
sailing activity on the lake. But if it is allowed in one day, then the
club is alread waiting there.

Then we noticed that only 14 hour train trip would take us to the old
capital Xian and the terracotta warriors. Checked out also this crowded
tourist attraction.

Photos from the trip will be available after a short trip to Beijing, to
see how 60 years of Communism in China is being celebrated... and some
technical problems being solved, as it is still very problematic to access
blogspot.com in China.
